TRAPROCK, Walter E.
   Pseudonym of US writer George Shepard Chappell (1877-1946) for a series of sf tales spoofing the geographical romances popular just after WWI. In The Cruise of the Kawa: Wanderings in the South Seas (1921) a newPolynesia is discovered featuring birds which lay dice. Through the Alimentary Canal with Gun and Camera: A Fascinating Trip to the Interior (1930) takes Dr Traprock through a human digestive system.
