SEVERANCE, Carol (Ann Wilcox)

   US writer who began publishing work of genre interest with "Isle of Illusion" for Tales of the Witch World (anth 1987) ed Andre NORTON. Her first novel, Reefsong (1991), features a genetically altered female protagonist sent on an interstellar mission by the corporation which controls her destiny. The Island Warrior sequence - comprisingDemon Drums (1992), Storm Caller (1993) and Sorcerous Sea (1993) - is fantasy.
