   US marketing executive and writer who began publishing sf with Khyren (1988), in which the protagonist finds herself transported from her conventional existence into a world where female worth is measured by fertility; the FEMINIST implications of the tale are not heavily underlined. ABK's second novel, set in the same universe, is World Spirits (1992).
