HOWARD, (John) Hayden
(1913-1987)
   US writer who began publishing sf with "It" for Planet Stories in 1952. His sf novel, The Eskimo Invasion (fixup 1967), set (rather unusually) in Canada, comprises a speculative view of OVERPOPULATION problems through a story about a group of Eskimos transformed into an apparently benign, fast-breeding new species.
