   US teacher and writer whose sf novel, The Liquid Man (1969), features a scientist and a problem in undesired metamorphosis, the nature of which is clear from the title. In The Crooked Shamrock (1969), the heir to the British throne is abducted by an Irish gang, and raised to adulthood by them before becoming king.
