   US writer whose The Elixir (1986) was a GOTHIC-SF/fantasy story of Nazi Germany, where Hitler's secret weapon is the eponymous aid to IMMORTALITY. His U.S.S.A.: a Novel (1987) is unrelated to the shared-worldsequence with the same overall title.
