   US writer who began publishing sf with "In Time of Sorrow" in Authentic in 1954 and continued with an sf novel, World without Women (1960) with Day KEENE, about the violent consequences to the world of the loss of its women (WOMEN AS PORTRAYED IN SCIENCE FICTION).
