MOXLEY, F(rank) Wright

MOXLEY, F(rank) Wright
(1889-1937)
US writer whose interesting Red Snow (1930) tells of a snowlike precipitation which causes worldwide sterility, and of the subsequent social breakdown, lovingly elaborated. One survivor is rescued by what may be an enigmatic alien but - as the vessel from the heavens is drawn by horses - is more likely to be Helios. But this fantasy-like ending does little to dispel the sf materiality of the preceding events.
