   US PULP MAGAZINE, a short-lived companion to MARVEL SCIENCE STORIES. 2 issues, Feb 1939 and Apr/May 1939, published by Western Fiction Publishing Corp.; ed Robert O. Erisman. \#1 featured the novel Lord of Tranerica (1966) by Stanton A. COBLENTZ; \#2 included stories by L. Sprague DE CAMP and Manly Wade WELLMAN. DSS was an average pulp magazine with no distinctive qualities. \#1 appeared as a UK reprint in 1939.
